Our Love Story

A Promise Baked in Faith: Our Journey to Forever
Some love stories are written in the stars, but ours was carefully crafted through faith, duty, and a shared devotion. We first crossed paths not by chance, but through our sacred duties inside the church. What started as a shared commitment to our callings soon blossomed into something deeper. By the end of December 2022, a simple exchange of messages sparked a connection that changed everything. In those late-December chats, a quiet certainty settled in my heart: I knew, without a doubt, that we were meant for each other.

He courted me with patience and intention for five beautiful months. When the day finally came for me to say "yes" and officially make him mine, we didn't realize until later just how special that date was. In a beautiful coincidence—or perhaps a subtle blessing—the day we officially started our relationship fell exactly on the birth anniversary of Ka Felix Y. Manalo. It felt like a gentle reassurance that our love was starting on the right foundation.

The Secret Ingredient
As the days turned into months, our lives remained centered around the church. Holding our duties hand-in-hand didn’t just strengthen our faith; it became the very mortar that held us together. It allowed us to see each other’s hearts, learn each other's flaws, and grow closer in a way ordinary dating never could.

Then came my 25th birthday, and with it, a surprise that would pivot our lives in an entirely new direction: he gifted me an oven.

That single birthday gift was the quiet beginning of our journey into the baking world.

We started experimenting, our knowledge growing loaf by loaf, pastry by pastry. Eventually, our passion turned into a business. But with growth came the heat of the kitchen—and the heat of life. We found ourselves working under immense pressure, balancing our business, our duties, and our relationship.

Tested by Fire, Ready for Forever
The true test of our love didn't happen when things were smooth; it happened when the oven fires felt a little too hot to bear. We hit a season of overwhelming trials—a problem so heavy and complex that, for a moment, we feared it was too broken to fix. We were tested to our absolute limits.

But love grounded in faith doesn't easily fail. We learned that just like dough needs to be kneaded and put through the fire to become something beautiful, our relationship needed to endure the heat to grow strong. We fought for each other, prayed together, and chose to rebuild.

Now, here we are in 2026. The storm has passed, the cakes have been baked, and the foundation is stronger than ever. We are finally getting married.

We are overjoyed to have you here with us today, not just to look back at how far we've come, but to witness the official opening of this beautiful new chapter of our lives. Welcome to our forever.
