Our Love Story

It all began in January 2024, at the start of a new year, neither of us knew would change our lives forever.

Dominik was on vacation in the Philippines with his best friend, while I was simply enjoying life and making memories with my friends. That night, we found ourselves at HQ Poblacion in Makati—a place I rarely visited and never expected it would become part of our love story. Looking back now, it feels as though fate gently guided our steps there.
In the middle of the night, with the music playing loudly and the lights shining brightly, two foreigners walked into the bar, looking a little lost. Among them was a tall, handsome man who seemed to stand out from the crowd. My friend, knowing my fondness for foreigners, introduced me to Dominik—even though she had never met him before.

At first, I wasn't sure what to think. How could I comfortably talk to someone so tall when I was just a short girl?  But somehow, that didn't stop us. We talked, laughed, and spent the evening getting to know one another. What seemed like a simple encounter soon became a memory neither of us would forget.

A few days later, Dominik returned to Germany. I thought that was the end of our story—a beautiful moment meant to remain only a memory. But love had other plans.
He continued to react to my Instagram stories and occasionally sent messages. Little by little, conversations turned into meaningful connections. Although our communication was on and off at first, everything changed in September 2024 when we began talking seriously about our future together.

I had my doubts in the beginning. After all, how could something that started thousands of miles apart become something real? Yet with every conversation, every effort, and every promise, Dominik showed me the depth of his love and sincerity. He returned to the Philippines to spend more time with me, and with each passing day, our bond grew stronger.
What started as an unexpected meeting soon became a shared dream. Together, we began planning a future, building a life founded on love, trust, faith, and unwavering commitment. We were blessed to be married in Germany, the country that became our second home. And today, as promised to my parents, we gather once more to celebrate our union and receive God's blessing here in the beautiful island of Marinduque.

Ours is a story of two hearts brought together across oceans and continents—a story written by faith, nurtured by patience, strengthened by trust, and guided by God's perfect timing.

Through every distance, every challenge, and every blessing, we learned that true love knows no boundaries. It is kind, it is patient, and it is choosing each other every single day. Against all odds, two souls found their way to one another, proving that sometimes the most beautiful love stories begin when you least expect them.

And now, surrounded by the people we love most, we joyfully begin the next chapter of our forever.
