Our Love Story

EJ and Clarisse met at SLSU Lucena Campus during an event in the month of September, where  Clarisse's and EJ's friends shared a nipa hut and introduced each other. This was the first time EJ and Clarisse met each other; EJ fell in love at first sight. EJ was shy, so he asked his friend to get Clarisse's number. Clarisse had no plans to enter a relationship again because of her past relationship, but she's willing to meet new friends at school because she was a transferee at SLSU Lucena. That time, EJ was on his OJT, and he immediately texted Clarisse, "Can I call you babe?" 🤣 so Clarisse's first impression was that he was just playing a prank on her, and Clarisse still thought that the person she was texting was EJ's friend. Since then, EJ courted Clarisse. He always picks up Clarisse from her classroom to eat together at the canteen. During Clarisse laboratory (cooking) classes, EJ watches them outside. With the amount of bashing Clarisse gave to EJ because she didn't want to enter into a relationship before, but because of EJ's love, perseverance, and patience, she got Clarisse's sweet YES on December 7, 2016 at 9:45 p.m., it was the happiest and most memorable day for EJ. Months and years of their relationship have passed; the fights, fights, and of course our love for each other will not fade. For seven/eight years as a couple, they achieved their goals in life and in the preaching work. This year, on March 23, EJ decided to propose. EJ asked Clarisse's friends to help him choose a ring. Clarisse's family knew that EJ was going to propose; with their permission and unending support, they had a video call while EJ was proposing to Clarisse, and again, EJ did not fail to hear Clarisse's sweetest "YES". Their hearts were in bliss, and they have come to that point in their lives. Many tests and reflections went through the length of their relationship, and that made their love even stronger. EJ and Clarisse are lucky to have their support system, such as their parents, who always guide and support them in their decisions, and one-call away friends who are always there when they have problems, so nothing can separate these two but only God. And so, in the gentle embrace of destiny, EJ and Clarisse's love story bloomed like the radiant flowers of SLSU Lucena, forever rooted in the soulful landscapes of their intertwined hearts.
