Growing Up Story

September 29, 2008.

Eighteen years ago, a little girl named Fran entered the world. As the first apo on her mother’s side, she quickly found herself surrounded by family, affection, and a great deal of attention. 

Her childhood was filled with the things that made little world feel real. Dora the Explorer, Elsa, drawings scattered across pages, strange little obsessions, and stories that stayed with her long after she had grown out of them.

Then came music. 

Vocaloid found its way into her life, followed by a growing love for heavier music, and eventually, a bass guitar of her own. Art became another part of her world. What began as childhood imagination slowly became something she could ctreate with her own hands. 

And of course, there were her cats. 

Casper, her black cat who has been beside her since Grade 3, and Mister Shabs, her beloved ragdoll whom she has cared for since he was a kitten. 

There were friendships, fandoms, songs played far too many times, countless drawings, and phrase that came and went. Some were fleeting, others quietly became part of who she is. 

Now, the little girl from September 2008 has reached eighteen. She has no grand wisdom to offer, nor does she have the rest of her life neatly planned before her. 

She simply carries with her the things she loved along the way, a few scars from. Growing older, a head full of music, and enough unfinished ideas to last a lifetime. 

And so, the next page awaits. 

Not a farewell to childhood, but a continuation of the story. 

A little older.

A little stranger. 

And still entirely herself.
