Our Love Story

Some love stories begin with a single glance. Others begin with a simple conversation. Theirs began with something even greater—with God.

Long before they became each other's greatest blessing, Francis Ian and Jeanette were simply two young people serving the Lord as members of Kabataan ni San Juan Bautista in their parish. Within the walls of the church, they discovered not only the joy of serving God's people but also the quiet beginning of a love story that He had been writing all along.

As one of the youth leaders, Francis Ian faithfully guided the parish youth. Through countless church activities, rehearsals, meetings, and moments of service, he and Jeanette found themselves spending more time together. Somewhere between shared laughter, meaningful conversations, and silent prayers, Francis Ian realized that his heart had already chosen her.

He admired her quietly at first—a smile from across the room, a fleeting glance during an activity, and the simple joy of seeing her serve with a heart devoted to God. What began as admiration soon grew into a love too genuine to remain unspoken.

With courage and sincerity, Francis Ian opened his heart. He shared his dreams, his aspirations, and the story of who he truly was. As days turned into months, their friendship deepened, and his heartfelt courtship slowly became the beginning of something beautiful.

Then came November 25, 2018.

During a church activity outside their parish, Jeanette gave her answer—the first "Yes" that would change both of their lives forever.

From that moment on, they chose to build their relationship on the strongest foundation they knew: God. Together, they continued serving in the Church—Jeanette as a Lector and Commentator, and Francis Ian as a member of the Extraordinary Ministry of Holy Communion. Their love grew not only through shared dreams but also through shared faith, proving that the couple who serves together grows together.

As the years passed, their love continued to grow stronger.

They celebrated victories, faced challenges, and embraced every season hand in hand. They explored beautiful places across the Philippines, filled photo albums with unforgettable adventures, and created countless memories that became chapters of their story. Yet beyond every destination they reached, they always found home in each other's hearts.

Seven years passed like pages in a beautiful book, each chapter filled with patience, unwavering commitment, and God's unfailing grace.

Then came another unforgettable moment.

On November 22, 2025, in front of the breathtaking San Agustin Church in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Francis Ian got down on one knee and asked the question he had carried in his heart for years.

Surrounded by history, blessed by faith, and wrapped in the love they had patiently nurtured, Jeanette smiled through tears and said "Yes" once again.

The second "Yes" was more than an answer to a proposal. It was a promise—a promise to continue choosing each other every single day, through every joy and every challenge, with God always at the center of their lives.

Today, they stand on the threshold of a new beginning.

No longer just two young people serving in the same church, but two hearts united by faith, strengthened by time, and prepared for a lifetime of love.

Because the most beautiful love stories are never written by chance.

They are written by God.

And this...

is only the beginning of their forever.
