Our Love Story
From Co-Teachers, to Friends, to Sweethearts
On June 23, 2015, Hansel and Giselle first met at Longos Elementary School as co-teachers. Neither of them knew that this simple meeting would become the beginning of a beautiful love story.
At first, they were simply colleagues who worked together, shared ideas, helped one another, and slowly became friends. Through everyday conversations, laughter, school activities, and shared experiences, their friendship became stronger.
But Hansel soon realized that his feelings for Giselle were more than friendship. He gathered the courage to express his feelings and ask her to give their relationship a chance.
Giselle said no.
Hansel tried again, believing that sometimes love requires patience and sincerity. But the second time he expressed his feelings, Giselle rejected him again.
Two rejections could have been the end of the story. But Hansel continued to value their friendship and respect Giselle's feelings. He did not give up on showing her through his actions that his feelings were genuine.
With time, Giselle began to see Hansel differently. The friendship they had built became deeper, and the trust and understanding between them continued to grow.
Then, finally, came the moment they had both been waiting for.
Giselle said yes.
After two rejections, Hansel and Giselle officially became sweethearts. What began as friendship between two co-teachers had blossomed into love.
Their story reminds us that sometimes, love doesn't happen at first sight. Sometimes, it grows slowly through friendship, patience, respect, and understanding.
From June 23, 2015, their journey continued—not without challenges, but with two hearts choosing to walk together.
They met as co-teachers.
They became friends.
Hansel was rejected twice.
Giselle eventually said yes.
And their friendship became a love story.
