How It All Began

Their story started in the baking ingredients industry, where they both stepped in as enthusiastic newbies. Zarah was the detail-oriented Brand Manager, and Jian was the driven, proactive Sales Executive. Though they belonged to different teams, they worked on several projects and… they just clicked.

Jian and Zarah’s teamwork was undeniable—and so was their chemistry. Clients, colleagues, and even their bosses often teased them, asking if they were already “a thing.” They would simply laugh it off, completely focused on their careers. Looking back, though, everyone else had already noticed the spark long before they did.

Coffee, Netflix and Workouts

As work meetings turned into genuine friendship, Jian and Zarah discovered they had far more in common than they ever expected.

They bonded over their love for good food, specialty coffee, and binge-worthy Netflix classics. Their weekends became filled with discovering local cafés, trying new restaurants, and creating little adventures together. They also shared a passion for staying active, spending countless hours at the gym alongside their close friends.

Somewhere between cups of coffee, workout sessions, and everyday conversations, they quietly became each other’s biggest cheerleaders and absolute safe space. Without even realizing it, friendship had begun to grow into something much deeper.

A Beautiful Transition

The real turning point came when Jian made a career move into the coffee industry—a perfect step for two people who share a deep love for a good brew. Stepping outside the shared office gave them the room they needed to realize just how much they meant to each other, and it gave Jian the perfect opportunity to finally pursue his feelings for Zarah.

Once they officially became a couple, their bond only grew stronger. They loved escaping for their dream beach getaways with family, finding joy by the ocean. The solid foundation of trust, laughter, and friendship they had built over the years made transitioning from best friends to life partners the easiest, most natural thing in the world.

A Tagaytay Promise: December 26, 2025

What started as two colleagues successfully navigating projects together ultimately blossomed into the love of a lifetime.

On December 26, 2025, right after the rush of the Christmas holidays, Jian took Zarah up to the cool, quiet hills of Tagaytay. There, surrounded by a place they would always remember, he asked her the question that would begin the rest of their story.

Z said yes.

Through every life season, they have always been better together. Jian and Zarah are so excited to finally start their forever, and they cannot wait to celebrate their wedding day with family and friends who have loved, supported, and walked alongside them throughout their journey.
