A Journey from Chance Encounter to Forever

Once upon a time in February 2014, a serendipitous moment unfolded in a bustling corner of the city. Junmel was heading home with his friend Marco, who happened to be a high school classmate of Mia. As fate would have it, Mia sat down right in front of them. A brief introduction was made, and a simple exchange of "Hi" and "Hello" marked the beginning of something extraordinary.

Intrigued by Mia, Junmel decided to reach out. He added her on Facebook and sent a message suggesting they be friends. However, Mia, at that moment, couldn’t shake the feeling that Junmel was a bit peculiar. His casual mention of counting his friends and referring to Mia as his "5th girlfriend in Davao" might have seemed a little out of the ordinary. Mia, somewhat puzzled, chose not to reply, leaving the conversation hanging like an unfinished note.

Fast forward to January 2015, and their paths crossed once more at the birthday party of a mutual friend. This time, Junmel’s curiosity was even stronger. As days passed, he couldn’t stop thinking about Mia. He turned to Marco and asked, "Can you give me a textmate? Remember the girl we rode with in the jeepney?"

Encouraged by the familiar face and feeling the pull of something unspoken, Mia decided to give it a chance. She agreed to the “reto thing,” and from that moment on, their connection deepened in ways neither of them could have anticipated. As they spent more time together, Mia discovered the genuine heart behind Junmel’s earlier quirks and found herself falling in love.

However, love wasn’t without its challenges. The prospect of a long-distance relationship loomed large. Yet, as their bond grew stronger, they both realized that the distance was a small price to pay for a love that felt so right. They understood that it was better to cherish the one they loved, even if they were miles apart, than to settle for proximity without the warmth of true connection.

And so, after a year of navigating the complexities of long-distance love, Junmel and Mia made their relationship official on April 27, 2016. They knew that their love was worth every challenge and every mile that separated them. Their journey was a testament to the idea that sometimes, the most unexpected beginnings lead to the most beautiful endings.

Their story is a testament to the power of persistence and heartfelt commitment. Over nearly nine years, they have celebrated triumphs, weathered challenges, and grown together in love and understanding. Junmel, a devoted seafarer, and Mia, with her unwavering support, have proven that distance is no barrier to true love.

    We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day with you! To ensure an intimate and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have reserved seating for each guest individually. We kindly ask that each invitation is for ONE (1) PERSON ONLY.


    Please RSVP by January 15, 2025 to confirm your attendance.


    We can’t wait to share this unforgettable day with you!

  • Is there parking space available for my car?

    Yes, there is parking available for everyone at the venue. However, please take note that it is first come, first served basis, so you might not want to be late.

  • I said "NO" to the RSVP but I had a change of plans-I can attend now! What should I do?

    • Please check with us first. Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list.



    • Kindly inform us if your schedule clears up, so we can try to accommodate you.



    • If seats become available, we will let you know as soon as possible.



    • Please do not attend unannounced, as we may not have any available seats for you.

  • When is the appropriate time to leave?

    This event took us months to plan, and we want to celebrate it with the people that are very dear to our hearts. We want you to have fun! Celebrate with us until the end of the program!

  • How can I help the couple have a great time during their wedding?

    • Pray with us for favorable weather and the continuous blessings of our Lord as we enter this new chapter of our lives as husband and wife.
    • RSVP as soon as your schedule is cleared.
    • Dress appropriately and follow our wedding motif.
    • Be on time.
    • Follow the seating arrangement in the reception.
    • Stay until the end of the program.
    • Join the activities and enjoy!

  • May I invite a "PLUS ONE" to the event?

    As much as we would love to accommodate all our friends and family, we have a limited number of guests.


    Please understand that this event is strictly by invitation only. Kindly check our invitation to know the number of seats allotted for you. Guests not found on the guestlist provided will not be allowed to enter.

  • What if I RSVP'd but cannot attend?

    We would love to have you at our wedding, but we understand that there are circumstances beyond our control. However, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reallocate your seat/s.

  • Can I sit anywhere at the reception?

    Please don't. It took us a lot of effort and discussion to finish the seating arrangement, which is planned for everyone's convenience and preference, but there is no need to worry! You'll surely be seated with your friends or people that you have same interest with.



    Our coordinators will gladly assist you in finding your designated seat after registration. Feel free to ask them for assistance and they will gladly help you.

  • Am I allowed to take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

    You're welcome to take photos during the ceremony, but please stay clear of the aisle so as not to interfere with the professional photographer. We appreciate your cooperation in making sure the event runs smoothly.

  • Do we really need to RSVP? We already said "YES" to the couple.

    Yes, please. We will be needing your formal RSVP to consolidate guest details and finalize the headcount for catering and seating purposes.

  • Can I bring our kids o the wedding?

    While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception an adults-only event with the exception our little adorable entourage.
