Our Love Story

From a quiet introduction in a church to a lifetime of shared promises, it is clear that God’s power was quietly orchestrating Mark and Ruth’s story long before they realized it themselves.

The Seasons of Preparation

In early 2024, their worlds were busy and distinct. Mark, a hardworking man from Lucena, was balancing a career in a Lipa City BPO with the demands of his own business, the milk tea shop "Tea-to Mark." Meanwhile, Ruth was dedicated to her role within an office in Lipa. Their paths finally crossed during the first quarter of that year when a mutual friend introduced them inside the church in Lipa.

But the timing wasn’t quite right. They were walking different paths and getting to know other people, leaving their potential story on “pause.”

The Digital Spark

Everything changed on February 26, 2025, sparked by a bit of humor. Ruth had send to a friend a meme from a page that says, “Pano tayo magmamahalan nyan, hindi ka naman nagchachat?” She jokingly declared that the next person to “make the mistake” of messaging her would be locked down for good.

As if he had received the memo, Mark reacted to her Instagram story that very night and started messaging her. He was completely unaware of the “trap” Ruth had playfully set, but it was a fall he would never regret.

A Foundation of Honor

Their connection deepened quickly as they integrated into each other’s lives, meeting both of their families before officially saying “yes” to a relationship on March 25, 2025.

Throughout this journey, as a devoted son and daughter who prioritized their families and their faith, they saw their union not just as a lucky encounter, but as the fulfillment of a biblical promise: that God blesses those who honor their parents and, most specially, the words of God.

The Promise of Forever

On January 25, 2026, before they even reached their first anniversary, Mark moved with certainty to pop the question, turning a playful "trap" into a plan for forever. Today, they stand as a living testimony of God’s grace—a reminder that when we honor our roots and our God above, He orchestrates a love story more beautiful than we could ever imagine.

From a digital message to a sacred covenant, their journey proves that a life built on faith is a life truly blessed.
