Our Love Story

A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN

PJ & Daisy Love Story

PJ and Daisy's love story began in the most unexpected place – the couple found each other on a dating platform in December 2020. PJ is from Santa Rosa City working as an IT and Daisy is a Call Center Agent from Muntinlupa City. According to PJ, Daisy swiped right not just based on his looks but because she came across one of his pictures inside her favorite coffee shop. "I knew I had to meet him," Daisy admitted with a laugh. They clicked instantly as if they had been friends for years. "Let's meet tomorrow," PJ suggested, his voice filled with excitement. They decided to go on their first date together the next day and both knew they had found something extraordinary.

Daisy describes that their first meet-up was funny because she had a terrible sense of direction PJ was going around in circles with his motorcycle and the location app is not taking him to the right address either. "I swear, this app is useless!" PJ exclaimed, chuckling as he navigated through the unfamiliar roads. He also needed to cross flooded streets with his white rubber shoes. Upon leaving the house, he needed to present his PAGIBIG ID to her eldest sister so he could be reported immediately if Daisy didn't get home before midnight. "Don't worry, sis, we'll be back before midnight!" PJ assured her with a smile. Their first motorcycle date in Tagaytay was a spontaneous adventure and a memorable one. On a breathtaking December sunset, PJ took Daisy to the same spot where he had the photo taken. "This is where it all started," PJ said softly, his eyes sparkling with affection.

The two hit it off quickly and became boyfriend-girlfriend on Valentine's Day 2021. "I knew from the moment I met you, PJ, that you were the one," Daisy confessed, her eyes shining with love. Months flew by, filled with countless milestones, shared pictures, motorcycle adventures, and food trips.

Fast forward to a romantic getaway in Baguio – November 2022. As they strolled along Burnham Park, PJ was planning to get down on one knee and ask Daisy to be his forever on his birthday but things didn't go as planned, the day before the trip, she received a COVID-19 vaccine, which caused her to develop a fever. As a result, she slept through the entire day, missing their itinerary. "I'm so sorry, PJ," Daisy mumbled, feeling terrible for missing out on their plans. However, it became a moment straight out of a fairytale, our prince rescued his sleeping beauty with a kiss and woke her with a ring. "Daisy, you're my everything. Will you marry me?" PJ asked, his voice filled with emotion. Of course, she said yes, without a moment’s hesitation. "Yes, a thousand times yes!" Daisy exclaimed, tears of joy streaming down her face. They celebrated their engagement with a bowl of hot ramen in the City of Pines. "This is the best ramen I've ever had!" Daisy declared, her eyes twinkling with happiness. They embraced the festive spirit and cherished the most wonderful time of the year inside the Christmas Village.

But every good story needs a villain. On October 2023, while PJ was on his way to the church to send out invitations, he had a motorcycle accident, being hit by a commercial van. "I'm okay, Daisy, don't worry," PJ reassured her over the phone, his voice strained but determined. This was followed by a series of stress and legal battles. "We'll get through this, PJ," Daisy declared, her voice filled with unwavering support. Despite the challenges, God showed His mercy by using different people to help. In God's grace, the operations were successful and recovery is getting better. "I'm so grateful for everyone who helped us," PJ said, his voice filled with gratitude. Everything turned their adversity into a testimony. Even though they had to postpone their wedding day not just once but twice. "We'll have our wedding, Daisy, no matter what," PJ promised, his eyes filled with hope. This season of waiting blossomed into a journey of forgiveness and growth. PJ's strength, resilience, and impressive positivity cease to amaze her, while Daisy's charming ability makes him smile even on his toughest days. "The Lord is our rock!" they said, their voices are filled with love, peace, and faith.

Now, they can't wait to exchange vows, dance to their favorite anthems, and share this special moment with their chosen family. "I can't wait to walk down the aisle and say 'I do' to you, PJ," Daisy said, her voice filled with excitement. Their hearts are bursting with excitement as they embark on this journey together as spouses, proudly living out their love story. PJ and Daisy want to stand proudly together, as a symbol of God's promises and His greatest plan - the beginning, the middle, the near-ending, and the true ending. "We're going to make this forever, Daisy," PJ said, his voice filled with determination.

They can't wait to share their happiness and continue their love story together with all of you.

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Ecclesiastes 3:11
