Our Love Story

Every great love story begins in the most unexpected way—and ours started back in 2012, in a small barangay where fate quietly introduced two hearts. God was quietly writing a story only He could have planned.

Kaye had recently moved back to the province from Manila. With the encouragement of her family and relatives, she decided to join the local Mutya pageant—an experience that introduced her to many familiar faces in the community. Among them was a cheerful young man named Rencee, who, unlike Kaye, was already well-known around the barangay.

During one of the pageant rehearsals, Rencee caught Kaye's attention by playfully using the microphone like a basketball announcer, introducing and describing her just for fun. A few weeks later, when the pageant officially began, Kaye was surprised to see that the same funny "announcer" was also one of the dancers in the event. Looking back, those playful moments were just the beginning of Rencee's sweet way of getting Kaye's attention.

That unforgettable introduction became the beginning of something beautiful.

What started as playful admiration soon turned into sincere courtship. Rencee didn't just pursue Kaye's heart—he won over her family too. He visited their home, brought an entire sack of durian, and spent time getting to know the people she loved most.

As their families grew closer, they discovered something surprising—they had already been connected long before they met. Their parents knew each other, and Rencee's relatives were close family friends in the same barrio. It felt like God had been weaving their lives together long before they ever realized it.

After months of patience, genuine effort, and heartfelt courtship, Kaye finally said "Yes."

From that moment on, they became inseparable.

They became schoolmates during their final year of high school, celebrated milestones together, supported each other through college, and dreamed about a future they would build side by side.

Now, here's a little fun fact about them...

For Kaye, Rencee is her first boyfriend, first kiss, first love, and first everything. Meanwhile, Rencee had a few "practice rounds" before meeting Kaye—but as they say, practice makes perfect!

And while Rencee may have dated before, Kaye is the first and only woman he ever proudly introduced to his family. She's also the only relationship that lasted beyond just a few months... in fact, it has now lasted more than a decade! We guess everyone before her was simply preparing him for the love he was truly meant to find.

After finishing college, they chose to work abroad together, believing every sacrifice would help build the future they dreamed of. Years later, they returned home with a shared vision—to build a business together and create a life they could proudly call their own.

Through 14 wonderful years together, they have experienced joy and heartbreak, victories and setbacks, laughter and tears. Life hasn't always been easy, but every challenge only strengthened the foundation they were building together. With God at the center of their relationship, they learned that love is not only about the happy moments but also about choosing each other, extending grace, and trusting His plan through every season.

Above all, they kept choosing each other—every single day.

Today, Kaye and Rencee are not only partners in love but also partners in life, in business, and in every dream they continue to pursue together.

With grateful hearts, they now begin their greatest adventure yet—not as boyfriend and girlfriend, but as husband and wife as two people who believe that their story has always been written by God's perfect timing, sustained by His faithfulness, and guided by His love.

And this is only the beginning of their forever.
