Two souls thousands of miles away from each other brought closer by God

Geli is from the Philippines and once worked as a seafarer and sailing in Norway for years, she really fell inlove in the culture, history, people, and natural scenery of Norway.

She had an unpleasant past and had been single for many years. After that happened she began to pray for God's will future husband.

She felt like nothing had happened in her prayer since she had been doing it for many years, and she almost gave up and accepted that she would be single forever.

But, God was very truthful to his promises, she remembers during her challenging moment in life that God was talking to her through His book saying these verses "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. -Psalm 34:18" and "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. -Romans 8:18"

So, she decided to hold on to that promise and wait for God's will. 

Then in January 2022, she tried to use the online dating app introduced by her acquaintance, and the forever began.

A guy messaged her through this app and was very interested in getting to know each other. The effort, sincerity, and willingness was outstanding.

Richard is from Norway, he really loves Asian food.

He was quite out of luck in his past relationships.

So he decided to focus on his studies and career as an IT. 

After a year, he decided to try his luck again through an online dating app and focused his attention on this profile owned by an Asian girl. He initiated the conversation and never stopped showing his dedication since then.

The two exchanged messages for months and when Geli got on board again in Norway, finally they decided to catch up. From the port of Tromso the closest port from Richard's place needed to drive for more than 3 hours one way only.

And he continued that for almost a year, driving more than 6 hours in total just to see and be with Geli for only couple of hours.

Richard never fails to miss the meet-up regardless of bad weather, conflicting schedules, and other dilemmas. The effort is unbelievable.

Even they are almost 2 years together, Richard is very outstanding and consistent in his effort on showing how he really loves Geli.

Now, the two decided to be together as one, make a vow, and make more memories in the presence of God.
