How Their Story Began
A Sweet Little Twist of Fate
In August 2023, two hearts found each other in the most unexpected place— “Tinder”. Who would have thought that a little landi would turn into finding their soulmate?
One swipe. One beautiful beginning. One love and it turns to forever.
First Meet
Dahil sa paulit-ulit na tanong ni Ron na,
“Kailan tayo magkikita?”
Finally, their first met was far from the usual romantic dinner. She brought Ron with her to the salon, where he patiently waited for six long hours. It was a simple beginning, but somehow, it became the start of a love story they never knew they were waiting for. Sometimes, the sweetest love stories begin with the simplest moments.
First Date
For their first date Ron and Joyce kept things simple. They went on a little adventure to Tanay, Rizal, where a simple coffee became the perfect excuse to spend more time together. Love is found not in grand gestures, but in the little things we do to understand and appreciate each other.
How She Said “Yes” – as Ron’s Girlfriend
October 1, 2023. Funny enough, Ron wasn’t even asking the question when Joyce finally decided to give him her answer. During a simple coffee date at Starbucks. Joyce secretly placed a little “YES!” on Ron’s cup of coffee. No big question, no grand gesture—just a simple cup of coffee and a sweet little surprise.
The Proposal
On October 12, 2024. After months of being apart while Ron was away at sea, they finally found their way back to each other. What was supposed to be a late celebration of their first anniversary and birthdays became a trip they would remember for the rest of their lives. They escaped to Baguio, just the two of them, ready to enjoy a few quiet days together. Little did Joyce know, Ron had something much more precious planned. From a simple Tinder match, to their first date, to countless memories—and now, to a promise of forever. The sweetest twist of fate brought them together.
