Our Love Story

Every love story begins with a single moment — a quiet encounter that, in time, becomes a treasured story of love, faith, and forever.

Vera and Svenn’s story started at their first workplace, at GICC, where two very different personalities crossed paths. Vera, a cheerful and lively soul, always brought energy wherever she went. Known for her soft heart, kindness, humor, and dedication, Vera found joy in serving in church, traveling to new places, spending time with her beloved circle of friends, and creating cherished memories with her family. She was the kind of person who could light up a room with her stories and laughter.

Then there was Svenn — quiet, reserved, and comfortable in his own little world. An introvert who enjoyed peaceful moments indoors, playing computer games, watching movies, and taking relaxing motorcycle rides. He was a good listener, someone who found happiness in simple things and enjoyed hearing Vera share her endless stories.

Svenn often found himself wondering, “Who is this little girl working across my table?” What started as a simple observation slowly became a friendship. Through their shared circle of friends, Vera and Svenn found themselves spending more time together. Their friends began teasing them, jokingly pairing them together — especially knowing how shy Svenn was around Vera.

But life had its own plans.

When the pandemic began on 2020, Vera had to leave her work and resign. For Svenn, it meant one thing: he would no longer get to see the person who had slowly become a special part of his everyday life. He felt sad knowing that their simple conversations and moments together would suddenly come to an end.

But distance did not stop a connection that was just beginning.

With a little courage, Svenn reached out and started messaging Vera. Amid the challenges of the pandemic, they found a way to know each other more deeply. After every shift at Vera's new workplace, Svenn would patiently wait for her. Together, they would set out on spontaneous food trips and strolls before he brought her safely home. Within those ordinary moments, they found extraordinary joy. Without rushing, without forcing, love gently found its way into their hearts.

After ten months of sincere courtship, on December 29, 2020, Vera finally gave Svenn the answer he had been patiently waiting for. With a joyful heart, she said yes.

Together, they discovered new adventures and created countless memories — traveling to new places, enjoying food outside, spending time together, laughing, teasing each other, and enjoying the little moments that made their relationship special.

Vera became the person who helped Svenn step outside his comfort zone, slowly bringing out the confidence hidden behind his quiet personality. Svenn became the person who patiently listened to Vera’s stories, supported her dreams, and appreciated the beautiful heart she shared with everyone around her.

Like every relationship, their journey was not always perfect. They faced disagreements, misunderstandings, and challenges that tested their patience and love. But despite being different in so many ways, they always chose to understand, forgive, and grow together.

On December 21, 2025, during their vacation in Baguio, Svenn knelt before Vera and asked the question that would change their lives forever. After five years of sharing life's journey and nurturing a love that grew stronger with time, Vera with a radiant smile said, "Yes."

They proved that sometimes the best stories are written by two people who are completely different — because even opposites can create a beautiful balance when they choose each other every day.

And now, after all the laughter, adventures, challenges, and memories, they are ready to begin the next chapter of their story.
